Black history + POC inclusivity book round-up.

Melody Matthews

It is so important now, more than ever, that we start being intentional about talking with our children about racism, what it is, why it happens, and how we can stop it. As a parent, it can be hard to find the right words when addressing such a serious topic with small children. One easy step we can take to initiate real change starts with our households, such as adding inclusive books that feature BIPOC. I know this may seem like an insignificant step on a grand scale, but books are very resourceful and pick at our kid’s brains more than we know. Please consider purchasing some of the books on this list! To make great change, we have to take the small steps, too. How we choose to raise our children is truly the first step to eliminating racial issues in America.
